Chapter-4
TRANSFERENCE OF SPIRITS
The Lord has laid down some conditions and stipulations in terms
of exercising spiritual authority. You should never assume that
you have full discretionary authority to personally exercise it
according to your own thinking. You need to have a proper understanding
of exercising spiritual authority before you ever make an attempt
to do so.
Jesus said, - “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of
heaven, and whatever you shall bind on earth shall have been bound
in heaven, and what ever you shall loose on earth shall have been
loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19; 18:18).
“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about
anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My father
who is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)
Each case that you deal with may be unique in its own way and hence
you must always be seeking God's will in each instance before exercising
authority in Jesus' name. Sometimes you may already know God's will
because it is revealed in His Word and other times you need a direct
revelation as to what and how you should do it and when you should
do it.
1. Source and Calling of Spiritual Authority
Before you exercise any kind of authority, you must represent a
source that is ready and able to back up the represented authority
with an adequate reserve of power.
